About Inger Johanne
Born in Kristiansand in 1958. Rasmussen has held more than 20 solo exhibitions at places such as Hordaland Kunstnersenter, Bergen; Sørlandets Kunstmuseum, Kristiansand; Kunstnerforbundet, Oslo; Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum, Trondheim; Spiral Garden Gallery, Tokyo; Sven Harrys Konstmuseum, Stockholm; Kabuso, Øystese; Forsvarsmuseet (the Armed Forces Museum), Oslo; Blaafarveværket (the Royal Cobalt Works), Modum; and Hovedøya Kunstsal, Hovedøya in Oslo.
About 30 of her works have been purchased by museums, embassies and government ministries. She has created more than 50 commissioned works of public art. Rasmussen has written two textbooks on weaving (published by Tell forlag), and created scenography for the Norwegian Opera’s production of ‘Faust’. Between 2018 and 2023 she was gallerist for Hovedøya Kunstsal
